INKspired Blog Hop #31

Happy Sunday! I hope you have had a lovely weekend so far. I am show casing a little bit of  Pink bling today as the INKspired team members come together for the last time this year. Yes the Christmas madness is upon us and I'm one of the many who hasn't finished their Christmas shopping.
Welcome if you have arrived from the lovely Renee that means you have already seen some of the cards using the following sketch designed by my super talented friend and amazing up line Teneale Williams.

This week I wanted to highlight some of the beautiful papers that will be available from the upcoming 2016 Occasions Catalogue which goes on sale January 5th  in all markets. I always find our new stamps and products such as the beautiful Pink Glimmer Paper gives me a little creative boost! I am in LOVE with the upcoming catalogue and the Bloomin' Love Suite.

This card has very little stamping as I wanted to showcase some of the beautiful paper from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack and of course a little bit of Pink Bling! I also wanted to create a Thank you card for the fantastic team members who have help out with supplying cards and card fronts to support my beautiful granddaughter Alyssa who has Lissencephaly, which literally means smooth brain, it is a rare brain formation disorder. Alyssa has defined the odds and will soon be celebrating her 9th Birthday. She really is a little fighter and a very special little Angel!

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thank you so much for support and commitment over the past year.

Now it's onto the super lovely Maree

Thanks for stopping by!

INKspired Blog Hop #30

Hi Bloggers, welcome to this week's INKspired Sketch Bog Hop. if it's your first stop - please be sure to ‘hop’ to all the other talented INKsired Team Members! If you have just landed here then you have come from Renee lynch. Be sure to click on her name if you would like to go back!

Wow I can't believe Christmas is almost upon us. There are 27 more sleeps to the big day (But I'm not counting -- I'm just a cranky elf that's not even started gift shopping!) It ALWAYS seems like there are a lot of days to go but before we know it - Christmas is upon us once more! At least my Christmas cards are finished and ready to send next week!

This week I'm really excited to share with you a little sneak peek from the upcoming New Occasions Catalogue. I have just returned from a fabulous time in Melbourne at the first ever On Stage Event with Stampin'Up!  It was totally awesome! A big thanks to my Room Buddies for none stop laugher and especially to my Stampin' BFF Louise Sharp for shouting us to High Tea at The Windsor. It was a well kept secret - the only thing we were told was we needed to dress the part! I spent a big part of the day feeling a little out of place as I don't do dresses, but I have to admit I kinda felt like royalty once we got there. It was such a beautiful place and the High tea was out of this world!

I can truly say that I have made some lifelong friendships through Stampin' Up! And enjoy the perks of being a Demonstrator. If you have a passion for Stamping and creating, love what you've seen in  Stampin' up! products then I would love for you to contact me and of course, Join my TEAM. If you would like to know more about becoming a Demonstrator and it's benefits, you can give me a call anytime on 0433432449 to find out how easy it really is!

Every second Sunday as part of the INKSpired Stampers we are able to play along and create a project from a sketch provided by my up-line Teneale Williams.  It's really a lot of fun and helps to keep our creativity flowing! Ok Enough chatting for now...

This Weeks Sketch

My Creation

I was so excited to be able to play with some of the new products at the On Stage Event and I totally fell in love with the new Botanical Gardens Product suite. The colours are awesome and the matching framelits compliment the stamp set beautifully, but of course " Thats what Stampin' Up! does so well. They take the guess work out of it - as everything co-ordinates right down to the embellishments. Anyone can make beautiful cards just like this one! You don't have to be creative to be able to stamp.

7:34 PM

Some real Bling! Everyone knows I love bling – I just couldn’t believe my eyes when my reward arrived from Stampin’ Up!  Including an increase in my commissions for achieving the Silver Level

For those wondering why I received this necklace; Stampin’ Up! have recently revamped their compensation plan along with titles & levels for demonstrators, to bring everyone in line, now that Stampin’ Up! is  a (Global) worldwide company. we now all have the same titles and compensation levels – and we know what each of us are talking about, without having to figure out equivalents!

So now, all new demonstrators start at a Bronze level, with regular 20% commission.  The next level is Bronze Elite, where you receive an increase in your commission to 25%.  At Silver, you receive this lovely silver necklace (or a silver money clip, your choice); and it goes up from there all the way to Platinum Elite.

I will wear my necklace as a sign of what Stampin’ Up! If you would like more information about becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator give me a call - 0433432449 or email  me at ncmacey@hotmail.com  "I’d love to talk to you".

INKspired Blog Hop #29

Hello and Welcome to another INKspired blog hop.  For this weeks sketch I wanted to create something bright and cheery. It's the first time I've used the Cherry on Top DSP Stack.  Totally in love with these papers! They are really fun to work with. I can't wait to see what the others have created with this weeks sketch by the very talented Teneale Williams.  If you have just landed here then you have come from the super creative Renee lynch. My card is pretty simple and straight forward. I love that this stack takes the hard work out of choosing colours as they all match perfectly. I just couldn't decide which one I liked best. Each sheet is double sided so you just have to flip it over and Walha "there you have it" Done!

Another Christmas - Embellished Ornaments

| on
10:25 AM

I'm totally in love with the Embellished Ornaments Stamp set & the new precision Plate from stampin' Up! The plate is prefect for very delicate thinlits.
I have had a few requests for the measurements I used to make this card! So here it is.....
This card was very quick and simply to make. First I cut a piece of lost lagoon A4 Cardstock in half length ways and folder it in half. I then cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock 8.5cm x 12.5 CM's. For the hint of colour I used the beautiful silver foil sheet from SU, cut at 7.5 x 11.5 CM's. The white that I stamped on was 7.3 CM's x 11.3 CM's
I stamped the Embellished Ornament in Lost Lagoon, cut a piece of the Silver foil for the top piece of the ornament. I used the new Silver cord form the Holiday Catalogue " Love it" and used a glue dot to adhere to silver foil piece. Using the two way glue pen I applied a little glue to the white stripes on the ornament and sprinkled some dazzling diamonds. What is a Chrissy card without some bling. I add a little more bling with 3 Basic Jewels Rhinestones. Using Versa Mark I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
You can save 15% when you purchase the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies & Embellished Ornaments Stamp set as a bundle!

INKspired Blog Hop #28

Hello and Welcome to another INKspired blog hop. I love all of the fantastic sketches that my super talented up-line Teneale Williams designs for us and I hope you can take away some inspiration from    what the others have created using the sketch this week! If you have just landed here then you have come from my super amazing friend  Marlene, can't wait to see what she has creative for us this week.

This Weeks Sketch

My Creation

As soon as I saw the Sketch I thought Christmas. The Embellished Ornaments die cut out was perfect. I layered it over some red foil sheeting from Stampin' Up! and popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I love how it turned out. I also used the red foil to create a very fine edge around the shimmer white cardstock, then layered it again on the card its self.

INKspired Blog Hop #27

Every second Sunday another exciting INKspired blog hope were we like to wow you with creations from our amazing Team. If you have just landed here then you have come from my super amazing friend  Marlene, can't wait to see what she has creative for us this week.

The sketch from Teneale this week is fabulous. Teneale is such an inspiration and does an awesome job creating the sketches to keep us all challenged!

This Weeks Sketch

This week I wanted to move away from the Christmas theme and show you how Stampin' Up! Co-ordinate products so well. All of the cardstock, printed paper and inks work perfectly together. I picked Sahara Sand as my base colour this week as it is so elegant when used with white.

My Creation

I am in love with the new Precision Plate that can be found on page 14 of the Holiday Catalogue. Yes I know I am singing praises this week but I just love IT! This plate makes intricate cuts a breeze.
I found that detailed dies such as the butterflies Thinlits are great, but sometimes it's hard to make all the fine cuts crisp and sharp. Problem solved! The Precision Base Plate adds a little more oomph to your die sandwich, making working with detailed dies a dream.

Next on the hop is the very talented Maree Macintosh, I am sure you will love what she has for us this week.

INKspired Blog Hop #26

Hello and welcome to our 26th Blog Hop. If you have just landed here then you have come from the super talented Renee lynch, Can't wait to see what she has created for us this week.
I have to say my mojo has been lacking a little of late but it was great to have it back for this week's Inkspired Blog Sketch Challenge. With so many lovely new products to choose from out of the New Seasonal Holiday Catalogue I decided to stay with the Christmas theme and use the beautiful Flurry of Wishes Stamp set and the Snow Flurry Punch, which are available separately or as a bundle.

                                                                     This weeks Sketch

This is what I came up with!

Firstly I stamped the Flurry of wishes using versa mark and white embossing powder. I then sponged over the embossing with pool party. The trick to this sketch was lining up the card stock once it had been cut. I felt it needed a little bling so I added some Dazzling diamonds with the 2 way glue stick. I then stamped the Flurry of Wishes again on some Whisper White and punched it out using the Snow Flurry Punch. I coloured the wooden snowflake and finished it off by using some Silver Cording Trim to create the bow!

Happy Stampin'

Welcome to yet another INKspired Blog Hop!
I was still blogging at 11oclock last night. Nothing like leaving things to the last minute. If you have just landed here then you have come from my super amazing friend Marlene can't wait to see what she has created for us this week!

This weeks Sketch

For my card this week I have chosen to stay with the Christmas theme. Yes I know it Father's Day but I struggle to do Masculine cards. I did choose to use the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set - A golden oldie from Stampin'UP! as it has been around for years and is definitely one of my favourites. It's such versatile little set as it can be used for just about any occasion. I kept my card very simple this week but love how it turned out. Hope you do too!

Happy Sunday. Wow I'm excited to be sharing another INKspired Artist's blog hop with you, if you have arrived from the lovely Maree McIntosh then you will have already seen some of the amazing talent, but if this is your first stop then HELLO.  This week's card was created using another inspirational sketch from my super talented and amazing up-line Teneale Williams.

This Weeks sketch

I have to say this weeks sketch had me stumped. Layering the paper was not as easy as it looks. Believe me I lost count of the number of strips I cut. I just couldn't get the sizing right! My hubby was called upon about a thousand times but we had a fun meeting the challenge.

This is what I came up with!

I can't believe I was still writing this blog at two minutes to ten! Nothing like cutting things a little fine. Life has been a little hectic over the last few weeks. I have taken on a new position at work and changed centres after 10years. Big Changes but loving it. I'm super excited about the up coming Occasions Holiday Cattie. I so love Christmas and all the excitement that comes with it. Can you believe it's only 137 days till Christmas. Happy Stampin'

Happy Sunday. Wow I'm excited to be sharing the 20th Inspired Artist's blog hop with you, if you have arrived from the lovely Maree McIntosh then you will have already seen some of the amazing talent, but if this is your first stop then HELLO. To celebrate our 20th Blog Hop, Teneale has kindly offered a stamp set to a lucky blogger who comments on all creations this week, so make sure a leave a comment n each blog as you hop around. Winner will be drawn on the 19th July, so make sure your've left all comments by that day! This week's card was created using another inspirational sketch from my super talented and amazing up-line Teneale Williams.

This Week's sketch

For my first 2015 Christmas in July project I was asked to create a masculine card so I felt this sketch was just prefect for the brief. I must admit I really struggle to do Male cards but by including a strip of black from the Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper I was able to add the masculine touch. I also add a piece of the Merry moments DSP for a Christmasy feel. It was exciting to see a special Christmas Section come back into the 2015 Catalogue.

Here's What I came up with!

INKspired Blog Hop # 19 - Watercolor Wings

| on
10:00 AM

Welcome to another Inspired Blog Hop.

This week I took some time out to play with some of my new stamps and tools I order from the new Catalogue!  I was itching to use the Watercolor Wings Bundle! "love" that Stampin' Up! offers stamps and framelits that coordinate and that you save 15%when you purchase them as a bundle! You may have arrived here from the lovely Maree's Blog, or if it's your first stop, Please be sure to 'hop' to all the other talented Inspired Team Members!

This week's Sketch

I've had a card idea in my head but struggled a little at first getting onto paper! I envisaged a beautiful butterfly landing on a brick wall . . . that was my inspiration! So of course I had to include the New Brick Wall Embossing Folder! Being a larger embossing folder  6" x 6" you can emboss cardstock for larger projects other than just cards.
Love it!

Here's what I came up with!

A very quick and simply card. Firstly I stamped the butterfly using pool party and Bermuda Bay on whisper white card stock. I then used the Butterflies framelits to cut it out. I layered the cut out butterfly onto a piece of pool party card stock. The silver strip behind the butterfly was created using the new washi label punch. To finish off the Butterfly I used some of the silver Metallic thread and stapled it to the centre of the butterfly. The sentiment was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black.

Now it's onto the super talented Teneale Williams...
