INKspired Blog Hop #46

Hello and welcome to another round of the INKspired Blog Hop.You may have just hopped here from the lovely Renee Lynch. Every two weeks we have a sketch challenge created by the super talented Teneale Williams so we can share our creations with you.

We have a great lineup this week, so please make sure you hop all the way around by hitting the next button at the bottom of this post. I'm super excited to be able to give you another sneak peek of this beautiful Designer Series Paper from the up coming Occasions Catalogue called "Falling for you"

This week, we have an awesome sketch.

I love sketch challenges and I'm really happy with this card .... if I do say so myself.

Recently I have been using lots of pinks (A bit of influence from the beautiful Louise Sharp) but this time I used soft sky card stock to coordinate with the DSP. I love how Stampin' Up! makes it so easy to create, as all the products coordinate so well together. I also wanted to showcase how you can create beautiful cards with little use of ink. I double matted a piece of shimmer white cardstock and used the large flower from the May Flowers Framelits to create this see through effect.
Super easy to do!

Having just returned from the Stampin' Up! On stage Live Event in Brisbane, I was inspired to get creative and play along to this week's Global Design Project. The new upcoming Occasions and Sale-A-Brations catalogues are packed full of great and exciting products, so don't forget to keep a watch out for some sneak- peeks.

This Week GDP has an awesome colour challenge.

I have used the Jar of Love Stamp set and the coordination Framelits to create my card this week and hope you like it. This is the first chance I have had to play with this little bundle and found it came together really easily. No tricky techniques or fussy cutting - Childs play "really". The only thing I can't seem to do away with is way to many layers.

It's Colour Challenge week and you could be a Guest Designer for the next Colour! Click on the banner below. I hope you get a chance to play along too!

Thanks for Stopping By

INKspired Blog Hop #36

Hello and welcome to another round of the INKspired blog hop. You may already on the blog hop if you arrived from the lovely Renee or this is your first stop. This week we have 5 cards based on the sketch below designed by the super talented Teneale Williams.

This weeks Sketch

I like to use up my scrap pieces of DSP for quick and simply cards and this week's sketch is prefect for doing just that. When I craft I pull all my DSP Scraps in a clear folder that you can buy from your local Post Office or Craft supply store. I only keep a piece of scrap that will fit in my largest Stamin'Up! punch. Trust me, if you keep any smaller pieces than that you will only become frustrated when you find the perfect scrap, but it's to small for the punch! I also trim my paper, so it fits neatly in the stash. I have to say that the easiest way I have found to use up all my scraps & accessories has been to donate them to my local School. They love to get boxes of art supplies for the children to use, especially around special event times such as Christmas and Mother's Day, which is why I try to clean out my Craft room twice a year.

Here is my Card.... I hope you like it.

That's it for now... I hope you enjoyed our BlogHop today.
If I can help you with any of your stamping needs please don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to help.

INKspired Blog Hop #35

Hi Everyone,
For this week's INKspired Sketch I wanted to share a pretty card I did using the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from Birthday Blooms Stamp Set out of the Occasions Catalogue. I know I go on a bit about how Stampin' Up! products co-ordinate with each other, but it's really true. They take the guess work out, so anyone even a beginner who has never stamped before can create simply beautiful cards in no time at all!

If you have just arrived from here from my super talented Stampin' Buddy Marl's that means you have already seen some of the cards using the following sketch designed by Teneale Williams.

This weeks Sketch

Here is my Card.... I hope you like it.

If you look closely you will see that I have sanded the edge of the DSP, this was a little tip I learnt from Teneale to add a little softness to our cards. I sponged the oval in Pool Party to tie in with the beautiful Pool Party Glitter Ribbon. The little flower was punch out of the DSP using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. I then added a little more bling to the centre of the flower using a Rhinestone Basic jewel.

That's it for now... I hope you enjoyed our BlogHop today.
If I can help you with any of your stamping needs please don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to help.

INKspired Blog Hop #33

Welcome Bloggers to another Inkspired Blog Hop. I have to say it's been a very busy week for me! So here I am writing this post at midnight again. I'm starting to make a habit of doing this! Anyway if you have arrived from my super talented Stampin' Buddy Marlene that means you have already seen some of the cards using the following sketch designed by my super talented and amazing up line Teneale Williams.

The card I made for this week's sketch challenge  has very little stamping. I have used the Butterflies Thinlits Dies cutting the shape twice, once using Basic Black Cardstock and the other using Stampin' Up! Shimmy White Cardstock. Behind the layered Butterfly I have used a strip of Silver foil. This is such a simple card to make but I do have to admit to loving layers.

My Creation

Now its onto Maree to see what she has in store for us this week.

Thanks for stopping By!

INKspired Blog Hop #32

Happy Sunday! I hope you have had a lovely weekend so far. I am show casing a little bit of Silver bling and the beautiful Blooming  Love Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! today as the INKspired team members come together for the first time for another great year. I can't believe how fast the time has gone! Christmas is over and I got to witness the arrival of my beautiful little Granddaughter into our lives. Alexis Faith McCartney was born on the 22nd of December weighing 3.060 and looks just like her beautiful big sister Miss Alyssa, who is so excited!

Ok I think I've bragged enough.
Welcome if you have arrived from the lovely Renee that means you have already seen some of the cards using the following sketch designed by my super talented friend and amazing up line Teneale Williams.

My Creation

As a Demonstrator I had the opportunity to purchase this set a little earlier.  I love this New Product Suite and I will be showcasing it a little more in my classes at the end of January. The Blooming' Love Suite is great for Valentines Day, Anniversaries, Weddings and just sharing some love. I wanted to showcase a little something different using this set, so went with the Black and White Theme! It's now onto the lovely Maree

Balloon Builders Valentine's Card - Handmade 2016 Occasions Catalogue

| on
11:35 AM

Hello fellow Stampers
It's time to get excited with the launch of our newest "Handmade Occasions Catalogue going live tomorrow. This was a super simple card to make as the balloons were cut out using the new co-ordinating Balloon Punch. I did have to fussy cut the Heart Balloon. I also added a little bit of bling using the new pink glitter paper and Hearts Border Punch to create different size hearts.
The first pink balloon was stamped once in Blushing Bride and I then stamped the other pink balloons  2 and 3 times to create the depth of colour. The Heart balloon was stamped in Melon Mambo which is one of my favourite colours.
